On January 19th, Elena Berezhnova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor at the Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, delivered a guest lecture to Master's students of the 7M01101-Pedagogy and Psychology educational program.
The topic of her presentation was "Methodological Conditions for the Transition from Science to Practice in the Structure of Applied Pedagogical Research," in which she focused on the specifics of scientific activity in the field of education: types of applied research, recommendations addressed to practice, indicating how a teacher should act in the educational process, etc. The problems of pedagogical education, didactics of higher education, and the methodology of pedagogical science were also discussed.
Further plans for organizing joint scientific events were also discussed.
