For the sophomores of the educational program "Biology" of the U. Sultangazin Pedagogical Institute, summer holidays have become a real adventure.
Not so long ago, the guys returned from the ornithological camp "Students for Nature Field Camp 2024". It was located on the territory of the Korgalzhyn reserve (Akmola and Karaganda regions).
The place was chosen for a reason – in this picturesque corner you can find 365 (!) species of birds, 42 of which are listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Kazakhstan and 27 in the International Red Book
Daniil Khristinetsky, Baurzhan Dusenov, Sabyrzhan Aidana, Adina Ormanova and Serik Amangeldiev listened to lectures by renowned ornithologists of the Association for the Conservation of Biodiversity of Kazakhstan and immediately learned everything in practice: they adopted the experience of identifying and accounting birds.
As a result, students were able to see and study more than 100 species of birds. The guys got such a unique opportunity thanks to the close cooperation of Baitursynuly University with ACBC, which organized the "Students for Nature Field Camp 2024" together with the Chevron company.
