The Department of Pedagogy and Psychology held a seminar with educational psychologists from educational institutions in the Kostanay region. The seminar, in the form of a roundtable discussion, focused on improving the educational process of the 6B01101 - Pedagogy and Psychology and 7M01101 - Pedagogy and Psychology educational programs.
Educators discussed the program for training educational psychologists, but the focus was on the content of educational programs, specifically the disciplines included in the training of educational psychologists and the development of educational and methodological resources for their implementation.
The invited guests included practicing psychologists, representatives of employers, leading teachers from innovative schools in Kostanay, the Nazarbayev Intellectual School, and educational psychologists.
Participants agreed that the developers of these educational programs should revise existing programs and develop new programs for training future educational psychologists to meet the new demands of the times.
