Binary lecture – for future "Special teachers"

On November 30, 2022, for students of the specialty "6B01902 Special Pedagogy" on the basis of the branch of the Department of Special Education – KSU "Cabinet of psychological and pedagogical correction of Kostanay", a binary lecture on the topic "Speech therapy work to overcome speech deficiencies in children with complex developmental disorders" was held. The lesson was conducted by: L.N. Likhodedova, head of the Department of Special Education of the A. Baitursynov KRU and Ten A.F., speech therapist of the KSU "Cabinet of psychological and pedagogical correction of Kostanay".

The purpose of the lesson was to form students' professional competence in matters of speech therapy work to overcome speech underdevelopment in children with complex developmental disorders.

The lesson considered theoretical issues related to the specifics of the manifestations of speech underdevelopment in children with complex developmental disorders, clarified the causes of speech underdevelopment in this category of children, speech and non-speech symptoms in preschool children with complex developmental disorders, presented methods of speech therapy to overcome speech deficiencies; and, also, demonstrated hardware tools for diagnosis and speech correction, available in the arsenal of the "Cabinet of psychological and pedagogical correction", an analysis of "practical examples" of speech therapy work with this category of children was carried out.

At the end of the binary lecture, specialists of the KSU "Cabinet of psychological and pedagogical correction of Kostanay", Atygaeva Zh.B., head of the CPPP, Artyushina I.A., typhlopedagogue, Kadyrzhanova L.O., speech therapist - told about the team support of children with disabilities in development in the conditions of the "Correction Cabinet"; demonstrated to students corresponding to the "profile of a specialist" diagnostic, correctional, developmental, rehabilitation equipment used in the work; gave examples of practical methods of working with children with developmental disabilities. Students really liked the conduct of this type of lesson.
