BAITURSYNULY UNIVERSITY – "KIA Kazakhstan": strategic partnership in engineering personnel training!

Today, a working meeting took place between the Chairman of the Board-Rector of the University, S. Kuanyshbayev, and the General Director of "KIA Kazakhstan" LLP, Mr. Kim Dae Ki. Considering that the university is the largest multidisciplinary university in the Northern region for training engineering personnel, the prospects for cooperation in preparing qualified specialists for the future plant were discussed.

Mr. Kim showed great interest in the plant's participation in personnel training not only in mechanical engineering but also in other fields, including through the dual education system, organizing internships for students and teachers, participation in the development and modernization of educational programs.

The management of the "KIA Kazakhstan" plant, represented by Managing Director Roman Glushchenko, plans to actively participate in the development of educational programs, which will improve the quality of personnel training.

The partnership will allow the development of educational programs that meet the needs of the Kia plant and help prepare qualified specialists for the machinery industry of the region. It is worth noting that in November 2023, the university signed a cooperation agreement with the largest university in South Korea, Dong Eui University, which is a strategic partner of Hyundai Motor Group and Kia Corporation.

Accordingly, the efforts of the two universities will be directed towards training specialists for the upcoming plant.

Mutually beneficial cooperation will not only strengthen the link between the educational institution and the enterprise but also contribute to raising the level of student training and provide an opportunity to gain practical experience in real production. Such an approach will allow students to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge that will be in demand in the labor market.
