As part of the events of the Day of Science, the Department of Journalism and Communication Management organized an open online lecture by Asima Ishanova, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor of the University named after L.N.Gumilev, on the topic "Art Journalism and Media Art of Digital Environment in the Epoch of Modernism".
During the lecture Asima Kalimovna told about the peculiarities of art journalism in Kazakhstan, introduced the names of such Kazakhstani publicists as Natalya Andakulova and Valeria Ibrayeva. The lecture also considered the work of artists who promote themselves in social media: Askhat Akhmedyarov, Almagul Menlibayeva, Berlin Irishev and Saule Suleimenova. In Kazakhstan, art is developing in all its manifestations, but unfortunately, not all of it reaches an audience, because there are virtually no professional art journalists in our country, but rather a shortage of them.
At the end of the lecture, Asima Kalimovna advised the students to read more fiction and noted the great opportunities for today's youth in their search for self-realization.
