Kuanish Aymurzinov - a graduate of the class of 2023. Having completed the university specializing in "Information Technology and Robotics," Kuanish can boast not only a diploma of a special kind but also a recommendation letter from a leading American company in e-commerce, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence.
Earlier this year, among six students from Baitursynov University, Kuanish participated in and passed the selection for the "OpenSearch Amazon" project, implemented under a memorandum signed between the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Amazon.
The main idea of the agreement is a perspective collaboration in higher education and expanding students' opportunities to acquire skills necessary for implementing innovations in the learning process and starting their careers.
Kazakhstani students were the first in the world to have the opportunity to work on a large international project of the Amazon corporation. For three months, under the guidance of experts, Kuanish performed a significant amount of work, including error correction, adjustments, and creating new software codes.
As a result of participating in the project, Kuanish became the first among Baitursynov University students whose professional skills were highly praised and acknowledged with a recommendation letter from Amazon. Three more students are awaiting their letters.
The obtained document will be a valuable addition to the graduates' portfolios for employment and admission to foreign universities for further education. Additionally, recommendations and feedback from mentors at the world's leading corporation allow participants to undergo internships and even find employment at Amazon.
