This significant event is important not only for the region but also for Kazakhstan as a whole. Over the next 5 years, the region will need around 3,500 specialists.
For the same purpose, Baitursynuly University has established relations with Korea, a country that has vast experience in training specialists for the mechanical engineering industry. Two students from Kostanay are studying at Dong-Eui University. Another group is learning Korean language to go abroad next academic year. Additionally, there are plans to implement a dual-degree diploma program among the universities.
CEO of Kia Kazakhstan LLP, Kim De Ki noted that such experience is an undeniable advantage for future specialists.
"In June 2025, the full production cycle of the KIA plant in Kostanay will be launched," he said. "Our vehicles are already being produced at 'SaryarkaAvtoProm'. We need professionals, and we will be happy to see your graduates at our plant as employees. This applies not only to engineers but also to IT specialists, lawyers, and others."
Baitursynuly University plans to open a Korean language study center in may. Starting from the next academic year, 3rd and 4th yearsstudents will undergo dual training and intern at KIA enterprises, while doctoral and master's students will undergo internships.
Cooperation agreement is going full pelt, with new joint projects to come.
