The team from Baitursynuly University took an honorable 2nd place at the Republican Anti-Corruption Student Olympiad in Almaty! This is an impressive result, especially considering that 90 teams initially competed for the win.
The KRU team "Guardians of the Law" consisted of third-year students from the "Jurisprudence" program: Altınay Tleulenova (team captain), Sergey Hertsel, Amir Kuandyk, and Ersultan Usen. The group was led by senior lecturer at the Department of Theory of State and Law, Indira Taltanova.
The final stage of the Olympiad, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Anti-Corruption Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan, included three parts: testing on the fundamentals of anti-corruption legislation, solving case studies, and a captain’s contest. "Guardians of the Law" confidently passed all the challenges and entered the top three winners.
The students were awarded a trophy, a second-degree diploma, and a monetary certificate.
As the students themselves note, their victory is the result of the effective work of all the professors from the Department of Theory of State and Law, who helped them prepare for the Olympiad.
Congratulations to our students and wish them new victories!
