A seminar on advanced training is being held at Nazarbayev University, which is attended by representatives of the A. Baytursynuly KRU.
The training takes place in a hybrid format and includes online sessions, a week-long intensive offline training with the participation of international and local experts, as well as mentoring sessions.
This is the third professional development program from the NU Higher School of Education in cooperation with the Finnish universities HAMK and JAMK "Leadership in Education", which is carried out as part of a major project "Implementing the model of teacher education and strengthening its content". The project is being implemented with the support of the World Bank, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The program aims to develop the competencies of 200 representatives of higher education and 50 principals of rural schools in key areas of leadership in education. Students will gain knowledge about the latest trends in education, learn how to generate innovative ideas and approaches, use new technologies, develop a vision for the future, and solve problems with a focus on results.
The program is implemented in a multilingual format. All sessions of the program are translated into Kazakh, English and Russian (consecutive and simultaneous translation). The program materials have also been translated into all three languages, providing students with the opportunity to study them in their preferred language. Upon completion of the training, students will receive certificates.
