The "Sunkar" sports club held the KRU Volleyball Championship among men's and women's teams, dedicated to the 150th anniversary of A. Baitursynov, with teams from the institutes participating. More than 80 students competed over two days, and the best teams were awarded certificates.
Among the women's teams, the first place went to the U. Sultangazin Pedagogical Institute team. The women's team from V. Dvurechensky Agricultural Institute took second place, and the team from A. Aitmukhametov Institute of Technical Innovation took third place. Among the men's teams, the U. Sultangazin Pedagogical Institute team led, followed by the team from V. Dvurechensky Agricultural Institute in second place, and the P. Chuzhinov Institute of Economics and Law team in third place.
These competitions are the first stage of the qualifying Republican tournament of the National Student Sports League, which will be held in Astana.
