The Republican Creative Contest "Kemel Qalamger" is announced, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the writer and founder of the Kazakh detective genre, Kemel Tokayev.
The contest consists of two categories:
Literary work in the "Detective" genre/essay;
Analytical-publicistic article on a legal topic/research.
Each category has three age groups:
Children's creativity (among school students);
Youth creativity (among students, master's students, and doctoral students);
Creativity of writers.
The winning and prize-winning works will be published in the collection of materials of the "Kemel Qalamger Baiqau" Contest.
Key requirements for participants and their works:
Previously published works/articles are not accepted for the contest;
Works are accepted in Kazakh or Russian;
Contest works should be typed on A4 sheets, Times New Roman font, size 14, 1.0 spacing. Only the author's pseudonym is written on the right side of the first page. The file name should indicate the author's pseudonym and the category, for example: qalamger_proza, qalamger_maqala;
Along with the work, participants must separately provide information about themselves (not more than 1 page: full name, place of residence, phone number, email, address, photo, brief information about themselves). The file name should indicate the author's pseudonym, his/her name, and surname. Additionally, a personal photo must be attached (sent as a separate file).
All works should be sent to the email kemel.qalamger@gmail.com.
