The results of the V International Distance Olympiad in the educational program "Tourism" have been announced, which took place from January 26 to February 15 at the Karaganda University named after academician E.A. Buketov.
Nine teams from Kazakhstan and CIS countries participated in it. BAITUTSYNULY UNIVERSITY was represented by the team "Alash," which included 3rd-year students of the "Tourism" program Malika Akayeva, Sabina Dzhaksalykova, and Dilnaz Nurtazinova under the guidance of senior lecturer, geography master Didar Zhumekenova.
The Olympiad consisted of two exciting tours. In the first tour, called "Tourist Route," each team developed a unique tourist route in the region/city and presented it in the form of a multimedia presentation. "Alash" presented an educational tour of the sacred sites of the city associated with the name of the prominent educator and teacher, our compatriot Y. Altynsarin.
In the second tour, participants had to shoot a video about the chosen route. As a result of the Olympiad, thanks to their creative approach and professionalism, the team "Alash" received a 3rd degree diploma!
