As part of a scientific collaboration, a group of Natural Sciences Department professors of the KRU named after A. Baitursynov, including Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Tatyana Bragina, Senior Lecturers, and Masters of Biology Maria Ruleva and Marina Bobrenko, visited the Naurzum State Nature Reserve from May 18 to 21, 2023.
Tatyana Bragina provides scientific guidance and consultation for the reserve's researchers and inspectors regarding the monitoring and conservation of natural ecosystems in two programs "The Modern State and Biotope Distribution of Locusts in the Naurzum Reserve and Adjacent Territories" and "The Modern State of Anseriformes Populations of the Naurzum Reserve".
The scientific fund of the reserve was presented with monographs summarizing the results of long-term studies in the reserve area by Professor Evgeny Bragin "Birds of the Naurzum Reserve" and a monograph by Professor Tatyana Bragina "Composition and Structure of the Soil Mesofauna of the Naurzum Reserve" and materials of international scientific conferences.
The reserve administration, represented by Director Dulat Koilybayev and specialists, expressed their appreciation to the university teachers and assisted in visiting the territory.
