BEGINNING OF A GRAND JOURNEY

Baitursynuly Kostanay Regional University and Dong-Eui University of South Korea signed a memorandum of cooperation for personnel training in mechanical engineering. Rector Seıtbek Kuanyshbaev and University President Dr. Han Soo-Won sealed the agreement. Dong-Eui, one of South Korea's oldest private universities, collaborates closely with the globally renowned automotive corporation Hyundai, making it a regional leader in graduate employment.

 "We are delighted to collaborate with Dong-Eui University, which has extensive experience in training personnel for Hyundai. Our university, known as the base for training personnel in the mechanical engineering industry of Kazakhstan, wants to express gratitude to Dr. Han Soo-Won. We hope our cooperation will be fruitful, and joint research projects will be implemented in production," said Rector Seıtbek Kuanyshbaev.

Baitursynuly KRU emphasizes international collaboration, having signed 125 international agreements between 2021 and 2023, including with universities in China, the USA, Bulgaria, Lithuania, and Poland. The "Academic Mobility" program and dual-degree programs are successfully implemented. Soon, a dual-degree program in "Mechanical Engineering" will be developed with Dong-Eui University.

The agreement aims to foster partnership in academic programs, professional education, faculty, and student exchanges, joint research, and participation in seminars and academic meetings.

Highlighting the importance of collaboration, Dr. Han Soo-Won stated, "Korean wisdom says a long journey begins with small steps. I hope signing the memorandum is the beginning of a grand journey."
