Students of Baitursynuly University successfully participated in the largest conference of young archaeologist scientists, which took place at the Ufa University of Science and Technology.
The Ural-Volga archaeological student conference is a significant event for the archaeological community, at least because it has been held annually for 55 years!
In total, more than 100 students and young scientists from 36 universities in 30 cities of Russia and Kazakhstan participated in the event.
Representatives from Kostanay Regional University named after A. Baitursynuly were students from the student archaeological circle under the guidance of associate professor Irina Shevnina.
Thus, students Danil Tupikov and Demyan Polezhaev presented a report on the topic: "Karaturgai Ring - a new study of "geoglyphs" of Turgai" to conference participants.
Second-year student Galina Skoraya presented an interesting report "Children's Sintashta burials of Turgai".
Having received special interest in her work from conference participants and scientists, the girl deservedly won and received a first-degree diploma for the best report in the Ural-Volga section in the era of the Paleometal.
All the works of our students will be published in the conference proceedings. We congratulate the students on their worthy debut performance and wish them further victories!
