Round-table discussion on Anti-Corruption Issues

The P. Chuzhin Institute of Economics and Law hosted a round table titled “Our Choice – A Corruption-Free State!” in the named auditorium of General Mikhail Dauenov, aimed at promoting the values of integrity and anti-corruption behavior among young people.

The round table was moderated by Alibek Tabuldenov, Director of the Institute, Candidate of Historical Sciences, who spoke about the institute's efforts in conducting preventive anti-corruption work among students and faculty.

Speakers included Karina Kistaubekova, Chief Specialist of the Department of the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Kostanay Region, Dinara Utebayeva, Chair of the “GrIn” Public Foundation of the Kostanay Region, Murat Iskakov, Head of the Inter-ethnic Relations Department of the Public Development Administration of the Kostanay Regional Akimat, Indira Taltantova and Moldir Baytasova, senior lecturers from the Department of State and Law Theory, and Usen Ersultan, a first-year student in the “Jurisprudence” program.

Participants of the round table discussed the question: how to combat corruption, a disease of society, and what needs to be done to see results from measures aimed at its prevention.

As a reminder, the university has adopted a “Policy on Academic Integrity,” established a project office “Sanaly urpaq,” and an Anti-Corruption Compliance Department.
