Roundtable discussion for the Day of Spiritual Accord

The key to achieving spiritual harmony is spiritual culture.

The Day of Spiritual Accord is celebrated annually on October 18.

This socially significant date in the Kazakhstani calendar appeared after the first World Congress of Spiritual Accord in 1992. Since then, the holiday is considered a day of reconciliation, mercy, assistance to neighbors, as well as a moratorium on conflicts and confrontations.

In anticipation of this day, the Youth Policy Department held a roundtable discussion on the theme "Yel Birliği – Ruhani Kelisimde" (Unity of the People – In Spiritual Accord).

The speakers of the event were:

"Any religion is history, culture, something passed down from generation to generation, strengthening our society. The interpenetration of cultures brings kindness to society, unity is the heritage of our countries," said one of the speakers.

Kazakhstanis know that their country has united more than a hundred nationalities and ethnic groups living historically in good-neighborly, friendly relations. And this is the main legacy of our country. President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed this sentiment in one of his messages: "Our main wealth is well-being and unity, stability and tranquility, peace and harmony."
