The "Kozqaras" Republican online short documentary film festival for students, organized by the Department of Journalism and Communication Management, has concluded. As previously reported, the competition program included 13 works, of which two were recognized as the best. In the "Speciality - Journalism" category, the best work was "Trainer" by Gocha Utaliashvili, a student of KRU A. Baitursynov (supervisor - Almatai Zhusupova). In the "Speciality - Directing" category, the work "Qamqor. Unknown Heroes" by Aidana Taigyly, a student of KazNAI named after T.K. Zhurgenov (supervisor - Askar Duisebaev), won.
As a reminder, the festival is being held for the second time, and plans are already underway for next year. The organizers of the festival encourage participation not only from students of media-related educational programs, but also from anyone who wants to try their hand at documentary filmmaking.
