As is known, on January 3, 2024, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, gave a comprehensive interview to the newspaper "Egemen Qazaqstan," summing up the results of 2023 and outlining the main tasks for 2024. A round table discussion was dedicated to this topic, with the participation of the university's faculty, student activists, and young scientists.

Speakers elaborated in more detail on the answers given by the President, particularly on questions regarding domestic and foreign policy, socio-economic development of the country, events of January 2022, construction of nuclear power plants, and other current topics.
For instance, Alibek Tabuldenov, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ph.D. in History, believes that this interview represents an analytical, historical, and political overview of events that have taken place in our country over the past few years.
Speakers such as Symbat Ukin, Professor at the Department of State Theory and Law, Acting Head of the Department of Accounting and Management of the Faculty of Economics and Law, Liliya Bayzhanova, 2nd-year master's student in Pedagogy and Psychology, Baibolat Segizbayev, and President of the Student Parliament, 3rd-year student in Biology-Chemistry, Murat Begezhanov, discussed various aspects of the interview: political reforms taking place in the country after the January 2022 events, issues related to the country's economic development, and the role of youth, which should not only acquire new skills but also effectively apply and implement advanced knowledge in life.
