Rector of BAITURSYNOV UNIVERSITY participated in the II Forum of Rectors of Agricultural Universities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries. The forum, attended by over 150 representatives from 46 universities, research institutions, and enterprises of China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, and Jordan, included the signing ceremony of a memorandum between BAITURSYNULY UNIVERSITY and the Northwest University of Agriculture and Forestry (Northwest A&F University). The mutual cooperation agreement was signed by Rector Seitbek Kuanyshbayev and Wu Puté.
The Northwest University of Agriculture and Forestry is among the top 300 Asian universities, serving as China's leading national university, uniquely offering all disciplines of agriculture and forestry. With over 5000 scientific achievements in applied research in animal husbandry and plant cultivation, the main directions of cooperation will logically address issues related to the quality and comprehensive development of regional agricultural higher education, given that the Kostanay region is an agricultural region, and BAITURSYNULY UNIVERSITY is a talent pool for the region's agriculture.
The parties commit to supporting each other in the fields of science, technology, and education, involving the organization of scientific conferences, symposiums, and seminars, joint research projects and developments. As part of the agreements, a student and faculty exchange program will be launched, along with the preparation of scientific publications and advisory assistance to graduate students and doctoral candidates.
