“It is wonderful when your efforts transform your life.
I was able to have a successful interview and then complete a 5-month internship in Germany. I had the interview when I was already in Germany, when I was in another DAAD programme. The agriculture internship programme in Germany gives you the opportunity to learn and acquire professional skills while staying with a German family, from which you get your own space, food (usually organic products) and money for the work you do. There are all opportunities to travel around Germany or other EU countries.
This is not my first time flying to this country, I already had experience of German courses in Germany, then I won a scholarship from the already mentioned DAAD organisation and studied it in Heidelberg in 2019 under the "Summer University Courses" programme, and a second time I won a scholarship and spent a month in Hannover in 2022.
All of this gives one a large circle of communication with similarly motivated people from all over the world, a huge platform for practising the language and improving language skills later on is created. But most importantly, the outlook changes, the boundaries are extended and one becomes more confident, which undoubtedly helps one to go on to conquer the heights in other areas.
Everyone has a chance to build a happy life, you just have to do something and not just think about the future. The future is the result of what you do right now.”
