Internship field: Natural Sciences
Scientific internship topic: Environmental Ecology. Meteorology.
Internship duration: September 18, 2023 – December 18, 2023
As a result of the internship, the articles were published in a journal recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the topic "Field practice as a means of developing students' research skills (based on the scientific internship data in Sofia)". Additionally, the following articles were published in the journal Ecologia Balkanica: "Study of Soils in Mountain Ecosystems in Bulgaria", "The Relationship of Atmospheric Pollutants and Meteorological Variables for the Sofia Region".
During the internship, the following activities were attended:
- September 21 – October 2, 2023: Participation in lectures by Professor M. Doncheva-Boneva of the University of Forestry.
- October 9-13, 2023: Participation in field practice (collecting water source samples) and visited stationary air quality monitoring stations.
- October 16-20, 2023: Participation in field practice in soil science.
- October 26-27, 2023: Participation in the project "National Roadmap for the Development of Research Infrastructure (2020-2027)" of the Ministry of Education and Science of Bulgaria, Bŭrziya (field material collection).
- November 10, 2023: Organization of a scientific seminar on "Scientific Research in Ecology: Experience of Scientists from the University of Forestry in Sofia, Bulgaria."
- November 20-24, 2023: Participation in events dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Faculty of Ecology and Landscape Architecture of the University of Forestry in Sofia.
- November 20, 2023: Participation in a roundtable discussion on "Wood Waste and Its Utilization."
- November 23, 2023: Participation in a roundtable discussion on "Teaching Ecology and Environmental Protection in the Context of 'Education-Science-Business'."
