CONGRATULATIONS ON THE 75TH JUBILEE OF MEIRAMBEK GABDULAYEVICH TASTANOV

On November 7, we celebrate the 75th birthday of Meirambek Gabdulayevich Tastanov, an Honorary Professor of A. Baitursynuly Kostanay Regional University (KRU), candidate of Physical and Mathematical sciences, Associate Professor, and professor of the Department of Mathematics and Physics.

After graduating from the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at S.M. Kirov Kazakh State University, Meirambek Gabdulayevich dedicated his entire professional life to science and education. A distinguished representative of the mathematical scientific school of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, he successfully defended his dissertation for the degree of candidate of physical and mathematical sciences under the supervision of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor, State Prize Laureate of Kazakhstan, and Academician of the Engineering Academy of Kazakhstan, Sh.S. Smugulov. He was later awarded the academic title of Associate Professor.

Meirambek Gabdulayevich’s career is closely tied to A. Baitursynuly KRU, where he held numerous leadership positions over the years. He served as Deputy Director of the Institute of Economics and Finance, Executive Secretary of the Regional Admissions Commission, and headed the Academic and Methodological Administration, the Educational and Methodological Center, and the Department of Education Management and Monitoring. He also worked as the Director of the Department for Educational Work and Public Relations, Head of the Information and Analytical Department, and Chief Specialist of the Strategic Development Department. He was elected Secretary of the Supervisory Board and served as Academic Secretary. Currently, he continues his active work as a professor in the Department of Mathematics and Physics, exemplifying exceptional professionalism and dedication.

Professor Tastanov has authored over 70 scientific and methodological works on topics such as filtration problems, electrical engineering, and financial regulation, including 8 articles published in Scopus-indexed journals. He is a regular participant in scientific seminars such as "Boundary Problems of Continuum Mechanics" and "Problems of Mechanics" at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

For his outstanding contributions to education in Kazakhstan and his successes in academic, administrative, and educational endeavors, Meirambek Gabdulayevich has been awarded numerous honorary titles and distinctions, including the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan badges "For Merit in the Development of Science" and "Honored Worker of Education of Kazakhstan." He has also received the "For the Development of Virgin and Fallow Lands" medal, a certificate of appreciation from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Kazakhstan, and numerous other medals, awards, honorary diplomas, and certificates.

Meirambek Gabdulayevich’s long and fruitful career in scientific, pedagogical, and organizational-methodological activities has earned him well-deserved respect and recognition. His dedication to science and education serves as a shining example for others.

We congratulate Meirambek Gabdulayevich on his Jubilee and wish him good health, happiness, prosperity, a long life, and continued success in his contributions to the development of science and higher education in our country.
