On 19-20 of Janurary Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography housed the first meeting on SusDev «Lifelong Learning for Sustainable Development» project. 26 representatives from HEIs of Kazakhstan, Russia, Poland, Portugal and Austria joined to participate. Participants of the project have presented their Universities and discussed general objectives of the project, ways of its promotion and responsibilities of every participating University in achieving its results. Each University has chosen "green" directions of work within the boundaries of the project: ecology, food safety and land management. 

Our University is participating within the workgroup on ecology, headed by Mosiej Jozef, professor of the University of Warsaw. The workgroup includes Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural Academy, Siberian Federal University, Saratov State Agrarian University, S.Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University, Kh.Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University and West Kazakhstan Agrarian-Technical University.

On April 24-27, 2017 in Dublin University of Technology, Dublin, Ireland was held a meeting of SusDev project "Lifelong Learning for Sustainable Development" with participation of Zhenis Zharlygassov, Vice-rector for Science Work and External Relations, and Abdrakhmanov Madi, a specialist of DSPE. The meeting was attended by representatives of 13 universities from Kazakhstan, Russia, Poland and Austria. 

The project participants discussed the main tasks of the project, ways to promote it and responsibility of each partner institution for achieving the results. Each university reported on its working packages, outlined the next steps, jointly decided the organizational aspects for each country.

Recall that our university entered the working group on ecology, which was headed by Mosiej Jozef, a professor at the University of Warsaw. Warsaw State University, Jagiellonian University (Cracow), Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Academy of Agricultural Sciences after K.A. Timiryazev, Siberian Federal University (Krasnoyarsk), Saratov State Agrarian University, S.Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University, Atyrau State University named after H.Dosmukhamedov and West Kazakhstan Agricultural Technical University named after Zhangir Khan work jointly with our university.
